More EU action in health
A demand from Europe’s citizens for the new legislative term
Europe’s citizens have their say in what happens in the EU. This is the clear message of this year’s European Elections. With more than half of eligible voters across Europe casting their vote – a historical high – citizens’ choices will not only determine who gets to sit on the 751 seats in the European Parliament, but also what will happen in the EU in the years to come.
Their priorities? More EU action in health is one of them. Read more about it in our new Incisive Health report: More EU action in health. A demand from citizens to address their policy priorities in the 2019 to 2024 term
Our report showcases the findings of our exclusive polling which was commissioned in eight EU Member States – Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain and the UK – and identifies possible solutions to address key challenges through targeted EU and national policy action in health. The results show a clear appetite for action on health policy at EU level, in particular in vaccination and innovation in healthcare. A clear mandate for newly elected Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to make a difference!
We at Incisive Health call on newly elected policymakers to keep what citizens and patients have at heart at the forefront of their minds when designing and shaping Europe’s future health policies. We hope that the report will play a part in informing the debate and look forward to playing our part in bringing together stakeholders and informing better policy in health.
